In the middle of nowhere.. All very odd...it's only called Howden as I presume that's the closest. town but it's a he'll of a trek
Dejectd platform in the middle of nowhere. Must walk 3 miles to find civilisation along a dark lonely road.
There is shelter, electronic boards showing the next 3 trains, bike racks to lock up your bikes, and bonus a free car park however this is why I'm not giving 5 stars for a rural train station. The car park is far to small which results in no available spaces so it's very difficult for locals to park. Due to the free parking other train users will come so they don't have to pay parking fees. The car park is in great need of extention which would result in parking fees but if the locals where given a recession on the cost this may put other users off using the station. A drinks machine would be nice to although the Howden Garage does have a Costa machine which I often use before catching my train. Hull trains does have a cafe bar so there are other ways to grab a coffee or another drink on an early morning journey.
Howden Railway Station not in the town centre, its in the middle of nowhere! Almost. Its one mile away! It's an unstaffed boarding point and its neglected station with hardly any shelter.
No proper shelter and you have to use the level crossing to get to another platform
