A very good place to visit incorporates the sobriety project a project to make the canal barges accessible to all particularly the disabled. Very good cafe all areas are wheelchair friendly. For sale is the home grown veg fruit fresh from the allotments. Even got a play area for the children. Parking is good and free.the staff are very friendly and a wealth of knowledge
Had a fantastic day at the Yorkshire water museum went on the tugboat ride that was amazing fantastic knowledge from the guys on the boat everyone was so helpful and friendly definitely a good day out and the cafe had lovely food well worth a trip and we drove the scenic way from Scunthorpe my friends from London was very impressed thank you everyone for making out day out special Xx
What a great time we had at the museum and really enjoyed our trip around the docks. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will certainly be going again.
On the upside, it's free. And, and, errm...On the downside there's nothing to see. The excess number of staff have nothing to do. Somebody is paying for all this from taxes. It's just a waste of time and space, really.
Visited many times over the years still learning something new everytime. Staff are always happy to help. There is always something new going on or new projects starting up.
