Christmas night out with friends Always a warm welcome from the staff. Food was amazing as always the ambiance of the Lowther is traditional mixes with old fashioned. Gets my vote every time.
Friendly staff, great food and amazing atmosphere in this historic hotel. Comfortable, quiet and very spacious room. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which is enormous. The bed was so comfortable I didnt want to get up!
I have been here a few times and the food is always to a high standard. The only reason I didn't give it a 5* is because the service is very slow. I don't think this is the waiter/waitress's fault. I see they have lots to do, so for me it looks like it is under staffed. As I had good company and nothing else to do those days, I didn't mind the wait.
