I was admitted for day surgery here and found all the staff to be helpful and organised. I thought the place to be clean and well run, all went to plan.
The only hospital trust in the whole UK to go into special measures twice. Their death rates are appalling. One foot inside the door of this filthy place will tell you why. Great for the staff. Nobody pays more for doing even less. Every ward is autonomous with its own separate clerks, secretaries and sisters. That's where your money was spent. Take plenty to feed yourself and to drink. Don't touch anything unless you have to. It needs blowing up, to save lives.
