What an amazing place! We arrived and were greeted by Nadine and her 2 lovely children who are very polite and welcoming. We were shown the toilet & shower and then the campsite, which is a nice walk past the chickens, the rabbits, the goats and the blackberries. The area is HUGE. It includes a cooking area to the rear where stoves, gas, pans and a table are provided! There are apple trees, childrens toys, a wooden picnic table, a firepit with logs to sit on free logs to burn and then finally, the large tent. Even with all of that there is still a great amount of space. Then we entered the tent and were again surprised even more, we knew about the wood burning stove and foam beds etc but again the wood is free to use, there were more toys in a basket for my youngest son (3), utensils, cups, a kettle, battery powered lights, books and wooden monopoly.The toilets are about a 2 minute walk to the top of their field but still about the average walk for any normal campsite (but who wants to camp right outside of the toilets anyway). The shower is top notch with very hot water and the room is just very clean throughout. Theres also a large sink for washing pots which my oldest son (13) volunteered for because it is right next to the goat field :)I'd highly recommend this if you'd like a little privacy and want to try something other than a tent. I almost booked a standard spot/field for our family to camp on and even looked at pods too but I'm glad I booked here. It was well worth the 2 hour drive and cost the same as a bare pod we'd stayed in years ago but this had so many extras. I could on and on about how good it is haha!Thank you Nadine and James
So I have never been camping before so had no idea what to expect. There was me my partner my 10 year old son and 7 year old daughter we got there and was greeted my Nadine the owner she was lovely she told us where to park and showed us to the tent. Tent is lovely secluded and cosy inside we were all very impressed she showed us how to work everything and left us to it. Well about 20 minutes later the biggest storm came out of no where and we were all abit worries then suddenly James the other owner showed up to make sure we were ok which I thought was really sweet.Anyway it stopped raining we had a lovely first night kids really loved being able to go pick blackberries see the animals and explore with me feeling safe in the knowledge they were safe as it's all enclosed. We went into a near by town the next day then came back and had a great second night around the fire it was perfect for us as it was just us there so we could do things at our pace and time.We will definetly be coming back the kids have said 3 or 4 nights next time please.Thank you James and Nadine you should be really proud of this site :)

If you would like to glamp in someones back garden on a foam topper surrounded with damp and in the pitch black, then this is the place for you! What a disappointment this place really was, the nearest shop (thank god for co op) was a 20 min drive away, the hosts were there on arrival and that was all we saw of them, if you like walking in thistles, nettles and soaking wet long grass then this place will excite you in more ways than one as all three horrid little plants are available on the walk from the car to the tent. I brought my bestie and 3 children to this horror show to get away from it all, my poor children had soaking wet feet all weekend and were to frightened to walk the half mile to the toilet in the pitch black so they went back to nature and peed in the bushes, not so bad for the boys but my poor little girl was mortified. The tent was full of damp and earwigs (which bite, I didnt know that) all the bedding was damp and my poor bestie, who suffers with asthma, was quite poorly and was eaten alive by the earwigs just to make her holiday that little bit more special. I could go on for weeks about the terrible time we had but quite frankly Im bored talking about this pointless subject. We tried to email the owners and got a very rude response, basically calling me a liar and no apology. So I wouldnt bother, unless you like that sort of thing.
